H4 Ceramic Wire Connector Set – Male & Female, 16AWG (Headlights & Fog Lights)
Plastic H4 headlight connectors melt. It’s not a question of if — it’s a question of when. Standard plastic H4 plugs are rated for the 55/60W halogen bulbs fitted from factory. Upgrade to a 100W halogen, an HID conversion kit, or a high-draw LED unit, and the connector body softens, the terminals oxidise and arc, and eventually the plug fails completely — either intermittently or permanently. This ceramic connector set is the correct replacement: ceramic housings handle continuous high temperatures that destroy plastic, and 16AWG copper wire carries the current cleanly without resistance-related heat build-up.
Why Ceramic Matters
Ceramic is the standard material for connectors on high-power lighting applications — race cars, HID systems, high-wattage auxiliary lights, and professional vehicle builds all use ceramic H4 connectors. The material doesn’t soften, doesn’t absorb moisture, and doesn’t arc-track like degraded plastic. If you’ve melted a plastic H4 plug before, this is the permanent fix.

Wire Specification
16AWG stranded copper. Suitable for up to 13A continuous at 12V — adequate for standard 55/60W halogen, 100W halogen, HID ballast loads, and most H4 LED conversion units. For relay harness applications drawing over 15A, use 14AWG wire when extending leads beyond 30cm.
