Most factory horn circuits run the full horn current through the steering column switch — a thin wire and a small switch not designed for repeated high-current use. Aftermarket horns, particularly high-output disc horns and dual horn setups, draw more current than the factory circuit was built for. This relay harness kit solves the problem properly: the relay draws full battery current directly to the horn, while your existing factory switch triggers the relay with minimal current. The result is a louder, more reliable horn that doesn’t stress or burn out your factory wiring.

One relay, one inline fuse, pre-wired harness loom, and all connectors needed for a complete installation. Suits single horn or dual horn (high/low tone) setups.

How It Works
The kit taps into your existing factory horn wire — positive and negative — to use as a relay trigger signal. The relay then draws power directly from the battery through a dedicated fused circuit to power the horn. Your factory horn button, steering wheel controls, and any existing horn wiring remain untouched.

Installation Overview
Locate your existing horn connector under the bonnet. Connect the kit’s trigger wires to the factory horn connector (positive and negative). Run the relay’s power supply wire to a fused battery connection. Connect the horn output wires to your horn or horns. Mount the relay in a dry location under the bonnet. Total installation time: 20–30 minutes with basic hand tools.

Single Horn or Dual Horn
This harness supports connection of up to two horns — suitable for high/low tone paired installations. If you’re running a single horn such as the FIAMM HK7, connect to the single output terminal and leave the second unused.

Suitable For
Cars, SUVs, utes, motorcycles, and any 12V vehicle requiring a dedicated horn circuit. Particularly recommended when fitting any aftermarket horn drawing more than 3–5 amps, or when replacing a weak factory horn on a vehicle where the existing horn circuit is showing signs of wear.
