The fourth-generation Jimny JB74 runs Suzuki’s K15B 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine — a willing motor that rewards being worked, but let down by a factory throttle calibration that builds in a noticeable lag zone off the bottom of the pedal. In daily driving it’s a minor annoyance. On the trail, where precise throttle modulation over rocks, roots, and loose surfaces matters, that delay is genuinely frustrating — the engine doesn’t respond exactly when or how much you ask.

The Interstar PowerPedal plugs into the accelerator pedal position sensor harness and reshapes the signal curve the ECU receives, removing that flat unresponsive zone so the throttle reacts directly where and how you press it. For trail driving this means cleaner, more predictable wheel speed control. On the road it means the Jimny feels more alert and connected, which is particularly noticeable when overtaking or merging — areas where the naturally aspirated 1.5L benefits most from immediate response.

This is not a tune, not an ECU modification, and not a power upgrade. It does not alter fuelling, ignition, or engine output. It changes throttle response only.

Three Modes via Bluetooth App

Adjusted through the Interstar iOS/Android app via Bluetooth — no buttons or knobs to mount:

• Race — sharpest response, maximum pedal sensitivity. Most noticeable improvement on the road
• Sport — sharper than stock, balanced for mixed road and trail use
• Dynamic — smoothed and refined. Particularly useful for technical off-road work where a softer, more progressive throttle helps prevent wheel spin on loose or slippery surfaces

Fine adjustment within each mode lets you dial the exact feel you want for the terrain and conditions.

Plug-and-play — connects directly to the accelerator pedal position sensor harness with no cutting, splicing, or ECU modification. Fully reversible. Does not affect vehicle warranty.
