Ford Transit motorhome conversions carry a lot of weight — the body, water tanks, batteries, solar equipment, kitchen fitout, and a full load of camping gear. Under that load, the Transit’s factory throttle calibration becomes more noticeable: the conservative off-pedal delay that’s barely perceptible in an empty van becomes a real annoyance when you’re pulling away from a campsite loaded, joining a motorway, or climbing a grade in a heavy build.

The Interstar PowerPedal plugs into the accelerator pedal position sensor harness and sharpens the throttle signal curve, removing the flat bottom zone and making the pedal respond accurately to where and how you press it. Under load, this translates directly to less frustration — the engine responds when you ask it to, not a beat later.

This is not an ECU tune or a power upgrade. It does not change fuelling, boost, or engine output. It changes throttle response only, making what the Transit already has feel more immediate and connected — which matters most when the vehicle is heavy.

Three Modes via Bluetooth App

Adjusted through the Interstar iOS/Android app via Bluetooth:

• Dynamic — smoothed and refined, the recommended starting point for a loaded motorhome. Removes lag without making the throttle twitchy at low speeds or during slow manoeuvring around campsites
• Sport — noticeably sharper than stock, suits lighter loads or more open driving conditions
• Race — maximum pedal sensitivity, less suited to a heavy motorhome build but available

Fine adjustment within each mode means you can dial in exactly the response that suits your build weight and driving style.

Plug-and-play installation — connects to the accelerator pedal position sensor harness with no cutting, soldering, or ECU modification. Fully reversible. Does not affect vehicle warranty.
