Toyota HiLux Vigo N70 – Interstar PowerPedal Throttle Controller (2004–2015)

The N70 HiLux Vigo runs Toyota’s 1KD-FTV 3.0L or 2KD-FTV 2.5L diesel — both common rail engines with an electronically controlled throttle that Toyota calibrated conservatively from the factory. That factory calibration builds in a noticeable delay off the bottom of the pedal, which is most obvious when pulling away loaded, towing a trailer, or needing a clean response on a hill or off-road obstacle.

The Interstar PowerPedal plugs into the accelerator pedal position sensor harness and modifies the signal curve the ECU receives, removing that flat zone and making the throttle respond where and how you press it. It does not alter fuel delivery, boost pressure, or any ECU parameter — it changes throttle response only, making what you already have feel sharper and more direct.

This is the same connector and unit that fits the Toyota Fortuner KUN60/SW4 (2004–2015), which shares the N70 HiLux platform and pedal harness.

Three Modes via Bluetooth App

Connect to your phone via Bluetooth and adjust through the Interstar iOS/Android app:

• Race — sharpest response, maximum pedal sensitivity
• Sport — noticeably sharper than stock, balanced for daily use
• Dynamic — smoothed curve, suits loaded towing or relaxed touring

Fine adjustment within each mode lets you dial in the exact feel you want.

Fitment

Plug-and-play — connects directly to the accelerator pedal position sensor harness. No cutting, soldering, or ECU modification. Fully reversible. Does not affect vehicle warranty.

Fits: Toyota HiLux Vigo N70 2004–2015, 1KD-FTV 3.0L and 2KD-FTV 2.5L diesel. Also fits Toyota Fortuner KUN60 / SW4 2004–2015 (same connector — see Interstar PowerPedal Toyota Fortuner KUN60/SW4).
